been away for some time... not sure if this is the right forum for this question- but, everybody here was incredibly helpful- this is where i learned how to rip/burn/and make my own X/S/VCD's
    VCDHELP.COM ROCKS

    with that said.

can somebody point me in the right direction for finding info/how to on this:
if i had a CCD video camera hooked to my (mac or PC), how could i access that computer via the internet (secured, password) and watch the A/V live feed?

compusa sells some kit to allow this along with home automation... however, the drawbacks are a monthly service fee, and the A/V is basically still frame- not motion video

btw- i've got broadband into the computer i would use

    thanks!

  2. You're not going to be able to get a real-time streaming feed over the internet off cable. The bandwidth requirements for that are ridiculous. The best you can do is still-frames. You can just use a program like VNC to remotely access your computer and view the camera feed... but it's going to be slow.
