  1. Hi!
I'm trying to convert mp3+g to vcd because my dvd player don't support cd+g.

With cdg2avi i can convert very well my cdg to avi. I converted the mp3 to wav with easy cd converter and then merge the audio and video with tmpgenc . It works well BUT the audio has some skips. The mp3 and the wav files have no skips.

I tried with toolame as an external encoder like suggested in the forum with no luck and the skips occured at the same place. i use the latest version of TMPGENC 2.59.47.155.

I hope that someone has a fix for my problem.

    Thanks

  2. Try using TMPGenc to encode them to SVCD instead of VCD. I am a KJ and I tried doing it with VCD and found the video sometimes gets out of sync with the audio and the words don't line up with the music. But I found that converting them to SVCD solved the problem.

But now I do all my karaoke gigs with my computer. So no more DVD players are needed.

  3. THANKS!!!

I never thought that it could be something so stupid. It now works well and the only negative point that i've found is less songs by cd.

SVCD is too high quality for karaoke but hey, it works well. For now i will do it like this and i will probably try with CCE later.

    Thanks again
