  2. I don't think you can... without purchasing some expensive quicktime software. Just follow the steps on site and convert the mov to .avi or mpeg and join them that way.

    I use the "Ulead Video Studio 5.0" to edit my MPEGs. It is not the best software, but it works.

  4. I believe their is a program called "QuickEditor" out there that will let you add/join multiple QuickTime MOV files.

    * NOTE: QuickEditor is no longer in production and is unsupported on the PC platform.

    Another way would be to extract the AVI using either MOV2AVI and/or RAD Video Tools and then join the individual AVI files in VirtualDub. You can do what editing you need to to there and output a single file that you can convert to MPEG or whatever else.

    Adobe Premiere is an expensive alternative and will provide a very feature rich editing facility for what you want to do.
