  1. Hoping on getting a pioneer 104 at christmas so i thought i would as some quiestions now so i know what to do when i get it.

I just ripped Stuart Little 2 to svcd, the original dvd is about 7gb,but when i ripped the vobs files, just the film without the extras is about 3.5gb,so am i right to say that i dont need to touch the vobs as they would fit onto one dvdr aways.

Also how would i go about burning this to a dvdr or other films that dont need touching as the film by its self is under 4.37gb?

Oh and i would like to keep the original chapters how they are.

Burning progs ive have installed are nero 5.5.9.0 and cdrwin.

  2. If its one layer ISO it to HD then write back to DVD will give exact copy.

If 2 layer then direct stream copy to .m2v and .ac3 file, then combine with Masetro will also give perfect copy. Look at How to section on left for details...

  3. so i take it that if i ripped a dual layer disc with smartripper and the film itself is only 3.5gb i cant just burn the vob files to disc.

So which guide from the how to section would be the best to go by where when a film is ripped from a dual layer disc, and the film its self is under 4.37gb so no reencoding is needed.

Okay, so how does one get around the fact that DVDMaestro is no longer available? Or is it?
