Hi all, I have two halves of a movie, one is 685MB, the other id 689 MB.
I burnt both mpegs to vcd (using 80 min discs) using vcd easy.
The first disc played great, but at the end of the second disc it got
all pixallated and froze in my dvd player.
It just happened when there was only 2 mins to go, does this mean that
the mpeg was too big at 689 MB?
It was originally 712MB but I trimmed off the credits using TMPEnc.
The mpeg plays perfect on my PC, anyone have any ideas as to why it messed up>?
Thanks folks

You have got stacks of room, you can get nearly 800mb on an 80min disc burnt as VCD. All I can suggest is try burning again, and if the problem persists at a low speed. Could of been a bad disc.

Not sure what is happening. A 700MB CDR will hold 800MB when burned as a Video CD.
It could be the quality of your CDRs, I picked up a 100 spindle of generic CDRs real cheap, they are fine for data, but will not burn VideoCDs, actually I lost 28 out of 100. Guess you get what you pay for.
It is back to either Fuji or Imation for me, I have never had any troubles with either of these brands.--
