    Hi All,

    I couldn't be able to play avi with ac3 format any more ... did lots of
    searches here without luck!!!

    I used GSpot to "locate" the codec .. it said "ac3 (0x2000) "Dolby Laboratories, Inc" " and the codec IS not installed!!! I couldn't find such codec here .. tried to reinstall divx, xvid totalpack ..ect... without luck!!

    Any1 care to help me out?

    dowload NIMO Codec pack and there is the ac3 audio codec in it you can install.....I am having a similiar issue and this seems to be the remedy eventhough I have had no luck bc I still get no sound!

    install powerdvd or windvd (even demo versions) and it has full ac3 support even for divx's

    i got some support files for playing avi's in WMP or any player that plays avi's with ac3 sound, pm me if you need it
