HELP! what is wrong here?

I am using DVD X Copy to copy DVD'd to DVD-R, its pretty awesome, but I have run into a problem with 1 movie. I am copying the full screen title and leaving off the wide screen title to make it fit on one DVD-R

MOVIE : Enough (Jennifer Lopez)

when I try and play my copy of this movie, it is great up until about chapter 22-24, once it gets to these chapters it begins pixelating (freezing up) and the audio also begins beeping and chirping.

can anyone shed some light on this? is it some form of copy protection or just bad media, or a dvd x copy issue? does anyone have any ideas?

It's usually media related. I don't know about dvd x copy i'd rather reencode to fit one disc but that's just me. I dunno if you've tried and tested discs but some standalones hate cheap dvd-r's. Try playing it on the pc or from the harddrive and see if you get the same freeze and pixels. That way u can tell if it's media or copy problem.
