    Hello
    I have a movie which is in widescreen and when I select 16:9 I cant se no difference on my pc. I use TMPGEnc and I wonder where I can load this move and it comes out with edges down and under.

    Im not sure if this is the right forum for this... but anyway. Please help.

    is your intention to play this on your tv? do this. press settings, then under video tab select 4:3 ( this is what the movie will be played on) then under the advanced tab select 16:9 (ntsc or pal - whichever you are) . when you start encoding the preview should show black at top & bottom. tada its widescreen
