Not having done anything with subtitles before (not much call for subtitles when you're only watching flicks where they are blowing sh*t up for two hours) I happily forgot all about them when doing Lucas' latest.
Now I have a nice, fat, m2v file and an ac3 ready to mux back together in Maestro, but I forgot about the required subtitles in SWEP2-AOTC, such as when Annakin returns to visit Watto (?) on Tatooine, or when Dooku is consulting with his allies.
I don't want to have to re-encode the video again, so can anyone tell me how to extract the (english) subtitle track I need to complete this project. I have got past the multiple angle situation on the opening chapter that has dogged a few people, so all I need is to re-incorporate the correct subtitle track and author it.
Decrypter > dvd2avi > TMPG Plus > Maestro is the path I follow.
HELP!!
