  1. When using bbMPEG (multiplex) I get some remark that the MUX rate might be to low.
And yes, the endproduct is bad on sone spots.
What does it mean? What does MUX do anyway?
What are the normal values for SVCD mpg2 stream?

  3. Mux is short for Multiplex. It's the process of mixing two or more things together into one thing. For mpeg it means mixing video and audio. The rate controls how much video and audio is stuffed into each data packet of the stream.

I don't have access to bbMpeg at the moment, but, I believe the default for a mpeg2 program stream is a mux rate of 0. Which means bbMpeg calculates the mux rate according the the files you give it.

  4. Hi Darkbird,

When I choose SVCD in bbMPEG to multiplex, it gives me 6972 as mux-rate. (bbmpeg 1.24 beta 1.
Don't know what happends if I make 0 of, but will give it a try.
    Thanx for your answer.
