I've been trying to get some old VHS tapes converted to DivX. I used PowerVCR II to capture the shows into MPEG2 format, then I tried to convert the files to DivX using Vidomi. That seems to work okay at first, but after a few minutes the audio goes out of sync on the DivX file. Is there any way to fix this? Should I try using another program(s) instead? Here's my computer setup if it helps any:
Operating System: Windows XP Pro
CPU Speed: 1.53 Ghz
Harddrive space: 80 Gig
RAM Memory: 256 MB
Video Card: Gforce 4 Ti 4200
Capture Card: ATI TV Wonder
Motherboard: Soyo Dragon+
I have to admit that I'm a complete newbie to capturing and converting video, but the sticky topic said that this is the forum for asking Qs about converting to DivX. I'm hoping that I'm asking this in the right place!
