OS: Windows XP Pro
CPU: Intel Pentium 3 750
RAM: 512 MB
When im watching videos like avi and asf files, my cpu usage is 90+% most of the time and i can barely watch the video because of high usage. This does not happen for mpg or any vcd/svcd files. This started happening ever since i installed XP, it never happened on my previous OS which was Windows 98. I tried closing all other apps but i still get high cpu usage. If anyone has any suggestions, please reply... much appreciated. Thanks

Sounds like your system needs an upgrade
If you want our help, you're gonna have to fill in the details my friend. You should ahve input your sys description when you signed up. I dunno what kind of video card/cpu you have, but I did notice on older systems running Win XP, video + mp3 music = bad performance.
What kind of CPU are you running on?
Plz respond wit System Details: PC manufacterer/system components on board video? sound? all of the above. what movies you play that go bad? how? etc. MORE details plz.
