I am having a problem that I need to fix asap. I have burned one DVD no problem using MSP6.5 and DVD workshop to capture. Now I am trying to put two 1 hour clips together in MSP6.5. One loads normal, while the other takes close to 4 minutes after I insert it into the timeline. I added a new drive and moved the data over but that did not help.
My system is an Athlon 1500XP, 512MB RAM, 30GB drive and new 60GB drive just for data. I closed most everything in the systray and it had worked fine with an 80min Mpeg2 file.
Where can I turn besides upgrading my cpu? I have to edit and finish 2 more DVD's for tomorrow night.![]()

Maybe I am not explaining it correctly, but all the other Mpeg's of equal length will only take about 5 seconds to load in the timeline and I can see each frame in filmstrip mode. The one file only shows up black in the timeline and takes 4 minutes to load.
To me, this does not sound normal. I have not done much with video editing, but still...
