  1. I currently and musing both SpruceUP and Maestro authoring tools. How on earth can I get the DTS file incorporated into the audio with my video? SprueUP just flat out ignores it, Maestro just see it, lets me import it, but after compile it says at least one audio must be PCM or AC3? If I just ignore it and burn the compiled files, I get no sound. Somebody please help, I know there has to be a way to do this because I have DVD-Rs in my collection that have DTS sound files. Can anyone Advise?

    Hi Cpukiller,

    SpruceUp: doesn't support DTS.
Maestro: That message is ok. Ignore it and burn.
Another issue is what do you use to play your DVD with DTS soundtrack?
If you play it on stand alone DVD player, you have to use Optical or Coaxial digital audio output from your player to connect to the same input in your receiver/amplifier that has DTS decoder. Also you have to set up your DVD player for correct audio output.

If you play it on PC, you need to use DVD player like PowerDVD or WinDVD.

    Regards.

according to the dvd spec -- you must have a ac3 or pcm stream -- doesnt mean it has to be the right one or the correct lenth if your always going to use the DTS audio anyway ...
