SmartRipper in Win2000 (again)

hi all.. I just switched from win98 to win2000, in win98 I can rip with smartRipper with the speed up to 9X, but now it's only up to 3.5X in win2000.
I have turned the DMA on (Device Manager --> IDE ATA/ATAPI controlles --> Advanced Setting --> Transfer Mode: DMA if applicable. And now the Current transfer mode is Ultra DMA Mode.

How can I make it just like in win98? thanks

are you using the noaspi.bat file w/smartripper ?
(it speeds thing up for me under winxp)
