  1. Good Evening all, as the header says, when I try and extract audio from a DivX file it tells me it can't find compressor for format DX50 but when I look at the file with Gspot is show everything installed properly, any ideas as to why?

  3. It is installed, the file plays fine, that's the strange part and when I run Gspot it too reports the codec as being installed and working properly, maybe a setting in VDub I have to adjust?

I seem to remember having a similar problem. I had divx5 installed, but not the latest version. Updating solved the problem,
