Good Evening all, as the header says, when I try and extract audio from a DivX file it tells me it can't find compressor for format DX50 but when I look at the file with Gspot is show everything installed properly, any ideas as to why?

You need to install the divx5 codec

It is installed, the file plays fine, that's the strange part and when I run Gspot it too reports the codec as being installed and working properly, maybe a setting in VDub I have to adjust?

Have you installed the latest version.

I seem to remember having a similar problem. I had divx5 installed, but not the latest version. Updating solved the problem, -
