  1. I have some divx and avi format movies that i want to burn in vcd format so i can watch it with my dvd player. And i have no idea where to start. What would i need to do to burn a vcd. Please help me out.

  3. you will need avi 2 mpg use decompress .exe to uncompress audio then run the uncompressed file through tmpeg to convert to mpg then write as a vcd using your favorite burning software but converting a 1 1/2 gig file takes about 8 hours

    Hi,

    I use a burning program called nero. It also converts .avi to vcd format and burns them automatically.

    Most .avi's are too big to fit on one cd. Nero also overburns, however, I have not figured out to use it. I use a splitting program called virtualDub instead.
