  1. Morning all, I'm in the process of burning my first SVCD (crossing fingers), I am in the conversion stage from DivX to SVCD Film using TMPGEnc In the tutorial in the "other settings" portion it shows all boxes unchecked but when I get to that stage the first 2 boxes both have checkmarks (source range & inverse telecine). I left the source range checked but unchecked the inverse telecine box. Did I mess up? Will this convert properly and I guess while I'm here, when would you use "inverse telecine"? Thanks for your help, wish I had more power, this conversion takes hours with a P2 400 lol.

I left the source range checked

The source range is where you set begining and ending frames for your output file. Hopefully these points were set to the first and last frame of your clip, otherwise you might not get the entire file.

Unless your source DivX was 29.97fps (which is unusual) I would think the Inverse Telecine is unnecessary.
