ok here it is , i'm backing up the godfather collection,4:3 aspect ratio, using tmpge the movie encodes fine and plays the correct asect ratio in cineplayer, after i author it in maestro it goes to full screen ? I'v tried a bunch of stuff, anybody have any ideas?

look at bottom of movie time line on the left and you will see aspect ratio .. right click on it and change it to the correct aspect ratio you want -- there are 3 choices ..
this is pretty detailed in the manual .. -
well change it to 4:3 .... if the source was 4:3 ... there is not of lot of choice ... 16:9 LB/PS or PS or 4:3

The funny thing is if i play a vob ripped from the dvd its full screen,but if i load the video ts ifo it plays 4:3 , i'm using cineplayer.Maybe the original video ts ifo tells the plaer what aspect ?

Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1 is what that collection is at ... so its stored as 4:3 squeezed and plays at 16:9 ... in 4:3 format everyone would be tall and skinny ..
