  1. Hello!

This has been bugging me for a while, so I thought I'd get some help from you folks in here. I know how to rip movies etc., but what about making a trailer DVD made up of different VOBs from different DVDs?

I have used DVD Decrypter, DVD2AVI and TMPEG to create MPEG2 trailers, but what if I want to take my various VOBs and "join" them together into one long movie so they play one after the other? Is there any easy way to join the separate trailer VOBs without re-encoding them again in TMPEG and to retain the original compression?

Also, this bugs me to death... I have both DVDIt! Professional and My DVD, which came with my burner. Using these programs isn't too difficult, but you cannot join a bunch of MPGs together to play in one long stream, separated by chapter stops without re-encoding. Sure, it's easy to create MENUS and buttons to access the trailers individually, but what if I want them to play one after the other without going back to the Menu each time one ends? I'm sure I have to make one GIANT MPG2 file, but I do have the disc space for this. Is there ANY way to do this to retain the original integrity of the VOB file, but join them together into one long movie that I can then put chapter points in (when using DVDIt! Pro?

I've tried combining my various MPG files into one long stream by using MPEG Tools in TMPEG, but when I play them back, only the first trailer in the sequence remains in sync, the rest are about 1-2 seconds off (I've tried both Multiplex and Merge & Cut options... both yield the same out of sync results)!

All I want is to create a nice trailer DVD and I'm getting all these problems. Seems like it should be a simple and straight forward task... am I missing something here?

I hope you all understand what I am trying to do and I hope you can help.
    Danke!

1,2,3,4,5,6, and so on like the main movie vobs are in a film.
