I have looked for quite a while and haven't found a solution to this so maybe someone knows how I can do this:
I have The Twilight Zone DVDs and want to Rip all episodes at once. I was using EAZYVCD v1.12 but that only allows, for ripping one episode at a time. I thought that SmartRipper could do it by just selecting all VOBs but it doesn't seem to be working as I only get one episode. The reason I want to do this is because I can only afford a small amount of time to the computer, and ripping and converting to VCD only takes about 1hr per 30 min episode. Due to work I can't babysit the puter at home and just rip the next episode. It usually takes me about 2 days to rip one Twilight Zone DVD. Very annoying because I paid a lot of money for my puter and want it to be working as much as possible. I feel I'm getting cheated somehow by it not working on something continuously 24/7!
On a side note I have found out, by accident, that I once all episodes are ripped I can convert all at the same time by just adding them in to DVD2AVI. Screen pops up and just add whatever VOBs you want. (Neat trick if you don't like renaming things.) Then just cut with any MPG cutter (I use TMPGenc) and burn!
So if anybody knows of a ripper that does this or if there is some option in SmartRipper to do this, it would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Anthony

Why not frameserve it with AVISynth and just do it as a "batch"

Well I found my own solution to the problem if anyone cares. When ripping multiple episode DVDs like Twilight Zone or anything else. Just go in to smartripper and hit the file icon on the left and just select the VOB files that you want. I noticed that the start button had disappeared but when I chose where to save the files the start button appeared again. (a problem I had a long time ago, and never found a solution, save reinstalling, 'til now) So if anyone had similiar problems maybe this will help as I couldn't find anything about it. Thanks
As for doing it as a batch that I could do but the time factor doesn't allow me to find the start and end of each episode. For me it takes less time to cut them up later, like after work. In the morning I usually don't have time for all that or I will be even later for work than I already am now! This is starting to sound like an obsession!

What does DVD2AVI convert them to? Mpegs?
Just wondering because I'm not familiar with it.I don't have a bad attitude...

Well what I use DVD2AVI for is just to create a psuedo avi file so that TMPGenc can read all the VOBs at once. It also creates a huge wav file, handy if you just need to add sound if for some reason the MPEG that TMPGenc created doesn't have sound. A recent problem for me with the old version of The Bourne Identity (not with Matt Damon but Richard Chamberlain).
I don't think that DVD2AVI makes MPEGs but it will make an AVI file for you. Though I am sure that most would agree that it doesn't do a great job of that. -
just to let you know, I am planing on putting the option in Eazy VCD to select many program chains and do a batch job.
I just wanna get this DVD-R support thing in there first.DVD to VCD made eazy
