    I there something I need to hear these newer DvD rips.. they are avi format.. the picture is fine but no sound! I have a P4I fire dragon (soyo) that has on board sound, not sure if that has anything to do with it!! T.I.A.

    You need audio codecs try using Nimo Lite Pack

    Click on the "Nimo Lite Pack" heading. I personally wouldn't use the full pack as I've had issues with it.


    You are probably missing the audio codec.
