  1. I am getting an error warning message after I run the simple multiplex header trick in TMPGEnc 2.53.35.130:

Loaded SVCD file in Video Input
    Slected MPEG-1 Video-CD in Type
    Clicked RUN

xxxx s packets cause buffer underflow.
The MPEG file might cause errors when played.

This might be the cause for all the digital blocks, green blocks etc. I am getting on playback on DVD player (Sony SAV-S300).

I have also successfully managed to created CVDs. Great quality but same problem after header trick.

    Any thoughts anyone?

  2. I think there is a box you can check that says "enable padding to not go below min bitrate"
entirely TOO much time on my hands

  3. in TPMGEnc File>MPEG Tools>Simple Multiplex tab
    you have:
    Type drop down box
    Video input Browse
    Audio input Browse
    Output Browse
    RUN
    CLOSE

so I am not sure where the check box "enable padding..." is exactly?

Sav10, multi-plex your files with bbMPEG as you usually never get this problem. Also, make sure you set the VBV buffer size to 0,as TMPGEnc sets it to the right value. Make sure you use bbMPEG after you finish encoding with TMPGEnc.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P

This is normal. As long as the final output files is ALMOST the same size as the original (it won't be exactly the same) then it should be fine. In fact I would get worried if I didn't see this message.
