Hi. My friend gave me a CD-R with a DVDRip he downloaded. He wants it on a DVD-R.
I used the settings from this guide (since the Framerate of the DVDRip was 23.97 fps, I figured this would work. Maybe using this guide's settings screwed me up):
http://www.digital-forums.com/dvd2dvdr/part3.htm
Plays fine on the computer, but on the set-top players, it runs for a few seconds at a time, the video speeds up for a split second, then resumes normally, and repeats again, sometimes freezing up.
What do I need to do for a good DVD?
Thanks in advance!

Try this
How to author with menu and chapters without re-encoding ?
It is not the best solution (I can imagine that there is simplier way) but I can play my DVD on standalone DVD player. Only problem that I have is : "No menu, No chapters".
