How do you insert silence in the audio portion of an mpeg without altering the video portion of the file. Ie I want to remove profanity from the audio portion of the file.

Use TMPGenc to DeMux the file.. then you will have audio and video.
take the audio part out, and drop it into your favorite audio editor (mine is goldwave) then mute out the profanity, and then save it.. then remux it back with the video
