  1. Ok I have a movie that I download off the net that is an avi file. I downloaded nimo and divx bundle to try and play the movie but it just wont play on my windows player or divx player... How do I convert it to divx so I can play the movie?

    Open the file in virtualdub, select file, file information. What information does it give.

  4. The fourcc should tell you which codec it was encoded with.

  6. Well it is not a divx, it uncompressed RGB. When you try to play it does it give an error, or does it actually play but you just get a black screen. It seems to me that it is a fake file. It should play because there is no compression codec used. But it is probrably just a capture of a blank screen.
