I have some MPEG1/2 files on my computer, that I
would like to get still captures from single frames.
I am looking for any suggestions advice on software
that plays MPEG1 and 2 files and allows good quality
jpg or bmp pictures to be taken. This is for a win XP
system.
Software can be free or purchable. I just have not
had luck finding any.
I have winVCR, which will do screen cap from live
capture, but that is disabled during playback of
MPEG files
Thanks

Even window media capture let you do screen capture.
Of course winDVD and Power DVD too. Look harder in
the help files, and/or manual.
The picture from a good mpeg file is always clear and sharp,
from any of these capture.
