Greetings all. Forgive me if the answer to this is real simple like altering a setting or something but i'm a real newbie. actually this happened with my first attempt......... dvd2scvd chuggs away and does everything right (i'm assuming) creates the first cd image but then fails on the 2nd.... this is a copy of the relevant log point.

    Executing RunbbMPEG. Commandline:
    "C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\bbMPEG\RunbbMPEG.exe" "C:\Program Files\DVD2SVCD\Movie\bbMPEG_Muxed_File.mpg"
    Multiplexing and cutting finished.

  2. hmm, I am having the same problem with The Panic Room DVD, havent had a chance to resolve why- have tried :

-making lots of room available on dirve
    -defragging the drive

    but no change to result.

Then, as I have found with other 'strange' occurences with this prog such as :

    1st CD great
2nd CD appears OK until you try to skip through and it 'sticks' about half way through with a few seconds of scrambled image and from that point on the audio is way out of sync

I switch to an alternative rip and conversion method using

    smartripper
    dvd2avi
    tempgenc
    chapterXtractor
vcdeasy (setting options allow SVCD as well)

Have even done 1 cd with DVD2SVCD and the second using vcdeasy, a bit fiddly but hey it works.

Thx... Eka... I think i may have found the cause of my grief.

In my encoder settings i had the option checked for only one pass vbr. There was a warning when i initally selected the option, but the settings were recommended by another site. So i went with it. I now have it set on multi pass (2) and my following attempt seems to have worked fine. Two images and the burnt results appear xcellent.
    Took just on 4 hrs.

    Cheers
