  6. don't they realize that at some point not long after they start to use them that there will be some way to get around it. whether it be a hack or a crack. there is always a way around those things. also, they need to pay attention to what has happened to their sales since the Napster deal began. file sharing has helped them. now what they are trying to prevent is hurting them........

  9. Does this remind anyone of the DVD copyright battle? Anyway I read this story on CNN.com and it provided a link to a site that claimed it had already broken it already. Cant remember link so just visit CNN. I think it was on CNET as well.

  10. You don't even have to resort to an analogue source to get around it. It's as simple as changing the recording line in Windows to "Wave", and then running a software recorder as you listen to it. Granted, it's only realtime ripping, but it would at least have to work, and would be digital.
