  1. I just encoded aavi to MPEG using TMPGEn then I split the MPEG using the TMPGEN MPEG tools merge and cut.
    I burnt it using Nero set on VCD and it burnt ok.
    I play it on my DVD and the picture is superb but there is no sound.
    I previewed it after downl;oading this avi and there was sound.
    Can you help me?

  2. Before you encode with TMPGE, extract the audio using Virtualdub and save as a WAV using this:

  3. oh...and i suggest rather than wasting any more Cd-r's ...try a short clip on a CDRW first.

    after you cut encoded and cut the MPEG, did you preview that to make sure there was audio?

    no but i kept the mpeg and i find that sound has gone so TMPGEn lost the sound
