  1. Hello

Im using CCE for encoding, so I separate AVI and WAV first. Then I do AVI to MPEG encoding with CCE (with FitCD Help, avs-File) and encode the WAV to mp2/3 with HeadAC3he. So Then I got a Video File and Audio File which I have to join. I wanted to do this in TMPGEnc - MPEG Tools, but every Time I try to multiplex/simple multiplex, he says at the end: xxxx packets caused buffer underflow. Of course I can watch the movie and it looks great, but I cant burn it with nero, becoz he says the Bitrate aint VCD compatible... But I did choose the right (1.150) Bitrate in CCE (CBR of course). Now Im not sure but I think that TMPGEnc is responsible for this, becoz of this pockets which cause buffer underflow.

    Has any1 experience in this?

    thanks

You can normally override Nero compliance checking provided your Player can play non-standard VCDs called XVCDs.

A couple of things to check:
Are you using CCE in VBR multipass or are you using CBR at 1150 bits ? If you are using multipass VBR then it may be that your peak bitrate is too high for VCD spec so that is why Nero is saying it is non-compliant.

Check your audio bitrate as I belive standard VCD requires audio bitrate of 224, no higher no less.

Also mux with mpeg1 system rather than VCD as this should stop the buffer underflows if your bitrate etc is VCD non-compliant.

Yea, my my DVD player cant really play it, the video is not fluent.

    Im using CBR @ 1150

I have CBR, min 224 setup in HeadAC3he

Yea I tried this, but its the same... he even gives me the same amount of packets.

Is there another Tool to mux video and audio to mpg? Or another Idea, Im really perplexed.

BBMPG is very good. I usually use this over TMPG for muxing. You should find a link to download it in the tools section on this site.
