  1. I paid for DVDSplit and DVDBurn... I wanted to support Derrow.. I know these tools are out there in freeware... btu still I wanted ot support him.

Problem: Playback of my Split DVD in my Toshiba SD-1800.

I take a DVD9, use DVD Decryptor to get the files on my HD. I use split, it does it's thing, and then I use burn on the VIDEO_TS folder. I'm not an idiot, I'm not missing anything little.. the tool doesn't leave much for someone to mess up on. I use burn, and I get a $5 coaster that doesn't run on my PS2 (i know, it doesn't play shit anyway) and on tabletop Toshiba I just bought.

It's not media. I have already played DVDR that I did 1:1 copies on. It works fine. The DVDR works in my computer (it always does), but not on this player or any else for this matter, i've tried different movies... same shit. Any ideas????????????????????

Tell me there are people out there that can get 2 SPLIT DVDs to run on a tabletop DVD player.

Oh yeah, i've also tried to split with IFOEDIT and I get the same results... a DVDR that plays fine in computers, but not in regular players.

    Thanks

  2. i have gotten the same problem either with splitting a dvd 9 onto two disks or rencode to fit onto on one. they will not play on my stand alone dvd player but will play in my computer dvd rom. my problem is dvd player is told old or somehow borken because they have played in a new one. just idea don't know how old your dvd player is but that might be your problem.

  4. Holy shit, fixed my own problem. Sorry about that... turns out that this new damn Toshiba SD 1800 doesn't like DVDRs burned with NERO. I burned with PrimoDVD and it's actually working... but shit, i have like 50-60 DVDRs that are done with Nero... I think i'll take this stupid player back tomorrow.

Hopefully this will help someone out there...

    Toshiba + NERO = Coasters
