  1. I am trying to convert/encode from AVI to MPEG2. TMPGEnc crops off part of the video, no matter what settings I SEEM to try. Please advise.

    Video Stream Stats (from VirtualDub):
    Frame size, fps: 640x272 25.000fps
    # of frams: 163211
    Decomp. DivX 5.0.2 Codec
    Number of key frames: 2259
    .... 856/8383/24929
    ..... 87/3652/45988

    Trying to do Auto VBR.....average of ~2.8k

    idears?

    setting > advanced > video arrange method > center custom size.

    experiment with sizes and view results in >
    File > Preview

    If you are talking about on yout TV the videos don't seem to fill the screen? If so do a search on "overscan" and follow the directions.
