What version of Nero are you using? I read so many writing problems with different versions of Nero that I'm hesitating to use one, and not sure which version to use?

I downloaded RecordNow DX 4.56 last night, haven't tried anything yet, but it "seems like" not freezing up the RecordNow but is freezing up DX! But that was just one pass on lauching both programs, maybe I was lucky. Gonna try to burn something tonight and see if RecordNow still crash my OS or not, if not then I'll may just keep using it and not the DX.

I also downloaded Sony's check drive software and tested, the drive is OK and passed all reading and writing, so at least I know the drive itself is fine.

How can I tell if I have Nero 5.5.9.17.0 or 5.5.9.17.1 ?

I followed other link and downloaded 5.5.10. I went on DC++ and downloaded the CD key so now I have a full function version.

Just tried copy 3 music CD and all went smoothly and fast! Have not try DVD yet because don't have project available on hand yet, maybe I'll try it this weekend.

Notice that there is no VCD burning option? Is that right? Or did I miss something?
