IS THIS Method Possible - urgent ?

This is an idea what i Have is this Possible and If how to?

i dave a dual layer Movie that i want to back up on my SONY DRX500UL.

Is it Possible to rip the First 15 chapters seprate and the next reminign chapters separate and then Burn the Stuff in to to DVD-R/RW. If i can How do i Burn the Ripped stuff.

Another thing. i have all the VOB file (4) how do i create a DVD with Just the VOB file ? Please direct me to any Guides to do DVD from VOBS only if there is any

To answer your first question I am not sure you can rip just the first few chapter and then rip the remaining as a second disc. Anyways, a easier method would be to rip the movie, then use Ifoedit to split into two dvdrs. You can choose where you want to split the movie so you could split at the fifteenth chapter if you wanted to. An even easier method would be to use DVD Split and just load up the VIDEO_TS folder you ripped and away you go.

Secondly, creating a dvd with just vobs can be done. Do you have the .ifo and .bup files to go with the video title set. If not load up VTS_01_1.vob into ifoedit and click on create ifos and it will do exactly that. Then put the four vob files with the newly created .ifos and .bup files run get VTS Sectors and burn with Nero in UDF/ISO mode or what ever burning program you want. Hoep this helps
