I don't have the original article, but this week there was an article on Intel dropping the retail price of the P4 chips down from $799 or $729 to around $530. This was to sell more chips and computers and to try to get a strangle hold on their slipping dominance in the chip market. The articl said that Intel had gone from selling 83% of all chips to 77%. That means my new computer will be even cheaper because of that wonderful competition ideology meaning to keep up AMD will drop their prices and I will be able to afford that 1.3 with some good old DDR ram. Oh...did I start rambling again...am I still typing...
