    My Sony burns in an odd fashion. the led flashes on and off as well as the hard drive led. which leads me to believe that it isnt burning properly. ie shouldnt it stay on the whole burn? has anyone else had this problem.. and any fixes? the quality of burns has been good mostly cdr/w's so far .. im testing dvd-rw right now.. same led issue. my liteon burns fine in the same machine.. im tempted to pull it and try it in another machine. id hate to have to return the drive .. anyway thanks for any input.

    There have been multiple posts about this, and it's normal for the drive to blink.
