When using Cinema Craft encoder to encode my YUY2 raw capture to MPEG-2 I am not getting the audio file with it. What can be wrong here?
I'm using 3 pass VBR settings....min 300, max 2520 and average 2300.
Any ideas anyone.
Advice would be greatly appreciated.

Encode audio separately and in CBR mode only. Some versions of CCE SP might work in VBR mode, but I haven't tested them.

I am pretty sure at some point it was working in VBR, then stopped working...
I got my hands on a copy of 2.66 and at least there is an audio file now. The main problem I have is I can't do the trick where I select my 00.avi file and then add the rest on to the end so that it all encodes into 1 big mpv/mpa file. Also, Virtualdub as a frame server (I was sure to name the frame server with a .avi extension which works in SP) is producing an error and won't work in 2.66. So now I guess I'm stuck with the task of biting the bullet and trying what I assume is a less user friendly AVISynth to do the frameserving.
If AVISynth doesn't work the first words out of my mouth will be "who's the F**KING idiot that coded CCE, it can't even accept a file to do it's magical encoding".
