  1. i burned a svcd (mpeg 2) when i tested it with 2 programs on my computer (power dvd and interactual dvd player) it came up as an unsupported media or with power dvd didn't show that there was any media present period!? then my stand alone dvd player, konka 18000u, wouldn't play it either. by the way i burned it to a cd-r disc if it matters. any solutions??

  2. do you have an mpeg 2 codec installed?if not click tools and get the elecard one i have had problems with the other one, playback is black screen

    You have to have PowerDVD 4.0 and higher for it to recognize the SVCD that was burnt. You could click on the file mode and go to your drive then choose your .dat file and it will play back. Also, your DVD player might not accept SVCD's. Look in the compatibility charts for more information.

  4. once i install that mpeg 2 codec do i have to run the movie files thru TMPEGenc again and then reburn?

  5. downloaded and installed the mpeg2 codec and it still tells me that unsupported format in drive E. when i play back just the file off the computer with windows media player it plays back jerky and slow?? help me out here if ya can.
