To do this you have to be an Administrator on your WinXP computer. If you are the only user on the computer, you should be the Administrator.

Normally, you should have two user names in the computer, first yourself and the other Administrator. You can login as Administrator and make yourself as Administrator. You have to go in the Control Panel for users. Go in: Start> Control Panel> users and passwords.

You have to adjust the settings in the taskbar area to display the logoff and the logon. Go to start>settings>taskbar and start menu> click advanced>tick "display logoff".

If you want to uninstall Norton's Internet Security, you have to in Control Panel to remove the program. To do this: Start> settings> control panel> double click add/remove programs.

the add/remove programs doesnt work. I found out how to take it off. If anyone has a problem with it -- go to norton website and download a file called RNIS and this should take it off completely.
