  2. If you want to get replies, you need to post more details - the more the better. What was the source file? What encoder are you using? What template are you loading? What was the framerate of your source and loaded template? Did you make a compliant VCD? etc.

  3. i used tmpge to encode. the file was a avi file from TMD on irc.
    the vcds are 2.0

i used the exact same methods described by tmd for using tmpge to encode and burn. it all works like a charm until the other day. now they play choppy. but the old vcds still play fine. and i took the new vcds to a friends house loaded em up there and they play fine! but still choppy on my dvd player

  4. 3 things you could do (depending on the cause of your problem):

    1) Picky DVD player when it comes to media - try different brand CDs and burning with a lower speed (2/4x)
    2) Framerate not supported by your DVD player - convert the framerate before loading your source into TMPGEnc (use this guide)
    3) Non-compliant Mpeg stream - convert to a standard VCD using TMPGEnc without using "unlock" feature.

These points do not guarantee that your problem will be solved since only "TMD on IRC" knows what you are doing with your files. We can't provide a proper advice unless you tell us more details about your encoding and burning process.

    Regards.
