I am having a rough time trying things to get my All in Wonder Radeon to capture 740*480 @ 5Mb/s without dropping frames. Does anyone have it working at the resolution?![]()
My system : WinMe, Asus A7V333 w Raid, 768 Mb ram, XP+1900 Mhz Athlon, Pioneer A04 dvd writter All in Wonder Radeon.
Thanks
Steve

Steve,
I have no problems capturing 720x480 MPEG-2 at 8mb/s (click "computer details" above to see my system).
A few thoughts:
1) WinME? 2000 or XP much better for video
2) Do you have a seperate h/d for video, or are you using the C: ?
3) Make sure you don't have any extraneous progs running in the background (Anti-virus, email, etc).
That said, you should not have a problem with the system you listed, although I highly recommend upgrading to Win 2000 or XP (and using NTFS).
Also, there are great forums for AIW users at Rage 3d Forums...scroll down to All-In-Wonder, VIVO and TV Support
