Startet some serious work with vcd2tk, to author a VCD with menues, background sound and some navigation. Volume 1 of a set of 2 worked fine.
With volume 2 the chapter entries are partly completely wrong with a difference of many minutes of the original chaptermark and the realised, not only the usual few frames.
found that by playing on a CDI-220 and also by analysing with vcddebug.
For coding the MPEG I used TmpegEnc 2.5, separate streams for video (1-4-2, no scene detect) and audio, muxed the thing with VCDMUX. No complaints by this and vcd2tk, but the result is disappointing (after all that work).
All the rest works fine, anybody a clue ?

I found this happened using tmpgenc with the vcd toolkit. I was able to use other encoders and they worked fine. I think it is just a very subtle bug in tmpgenc. The vcd toolkit is very, very strict about it's compliance.

Thanks for the reply.
Which one do you use ?
How about the quality of those, TmpegEnc is absolutely fine ?
