  1. i have a movie that i just downloaded has no video compression and i was wondering how i could do this.

  2. What makes you think it has no compression? I only ask because uncompressed avi is HUGE (Something like 1Gig per min for 640 * 480)

  3. i looked at the videos properties and it says that it has no video compression. it's only about 240 mb

  4. What is the length and resolution of the video, like bugster says uncompressed avi's are very large, if my memory is right I thing 720x576 is about 20mb/s. So at that resolution for that size of file this equates to just over 10 seconds of video. Basically if you have more than a few minutes of video at a reasonable resolution it has been compressed in some way.

    It's probably saying that because you don't have all the proper codecs installed. Download the "Nimo Codecs Package" in the tools section. It could also be a fake file. :P
