Just curious if there is somewhere that lists what the general upper bitrate limitations are on DVD stand alone players? I am re-encoding DVD's at about 4000 to 5000 kbps and am wondering if this is maybe too high for some older decks. If they are more than 2 years then I don't really care. In other words what's a relativily safe upper bitrate value for encoding, that will give reasonable compatibility with average stand alopne DVD players.

It's in there somewhere. I believe it's 10.08 combined total ( audio + video + overhead ).
