    does anybody know of a authoring program which will let you import the main movie vobs plus let you type your own subtitles on any part of the film then let you export the finished vobs.

    you can import the vobs from a dvd with CLAD DVD

    about subtitles, there are a few that i like: subtitle workshop is a good one to edit and subsync as well.

    there are a few tutorials about how to use those around the site (try the forum section "how to"). and i think those software you can find in the tools section.
