  1. I just got the full version of Spruceup and I really like how it works. However I did run into a little problem when I was trying to make the chapter points and also when I tried to simulate with the test remote control. The program would crash every time. Got some error saying " spruceup unexpectedly been terminated, any unsaved information might be lost" or something to that effect. I could not get it to play the movie at all. I then did some tests with a couple other short clips. (about 1 min in length) and those worked fine. I could preview it while making the chapters and the simulation worked fine also. So it is almost like it didn't want to work with a full move. It was only 58 mins long. But then I just skipped the simulation part and completed the project by creating the dvd folders and burned with nero. All went perfectly. It just won't let me preview in spruce. Any ideas??

If you are only having trouble on the preview/simulate I would say it's conflicting with you mpeg-2 codec.

It would be a good place to start. What mpeg-2 playback programs do you have installed?

  3. Well I use WINDVD to watch my mpeg 2s. I just thought it was strange that it worked on real short clips and not the bigger one. I encoded with tmpg using specific dvd template, and ac3 5.0 audio.
