    Last sunday I snagged the Cendyne 4x DVD-RW (rebranded Pioneer DVR-105). I have updated the firmware the v1.21 and I have sucessfully burned 5 DVD-Rs using Memorex purple bottom "Version 2.0" media at 2x speed. I bought this media @ Best Buy (ugh) for $18/5pack (the bulk pack's UPC # is 034707055353, with the individual media being labled 034707055100). They are being read with no problem in the 105 itself and in my hacked Mintek 2110 and were burned using Nero 5.5.9.6.
