    Couple of people think the Apex500W problem come from weak laser. This propmt me to worry about how long does the laser in our DVD player lasted ?

    I have a JVC CD recorder that has problem burning disc.
    I also have returned a "Delta DVD drive" that has all kind of problem ripping.

    Did anyone ever get the laser replaced or repair or re-align ?
