    Hi guys,
    I understand fr the website tat there are quite a few choices of programs for the programs used to rip DVD to SVCD.
    Just wanna find out fr u guys wat r the ones tat u have tried and found best?
    IE wat programs do u use fr the ripping to the encoding to the burning?

    Sorry bout this newbie thread. Cos my sys is a Duron 700 ....so wouldnt wanna wait 10 hrs to create and find out the quality sux.

    Two ways:

    1) Smartripper > DVD2AVI > TMPGEnc > Nero

    2) DVD2SVCD > Nero

    Done right, either can give you an incredibly good copy of the original DVD. :P

    I use the above except DVD decrypter instead of Smart Ripper.

    Can anyone point out any advantages of SMRT RPR over DVDDecrypt?
